Smartphone and TV increase the risk of heart disease and diabetes

A new study has shown that those who wake up at night are at higher risk of heart disease and diabetes. Researchers at Britain’s North Umbria University have reached this conclusion after reviewing international studies for the first time in the world. Researchers found that people who stay awake late have worse eating habits. The human body operates on a 24-hour cycle, which is controlled by the biological clock. This internal clock regulates many functions of our body. For example, it tells you when to eat, when to sleep and when to wake up. This internal clock works towards getting up early and sleeping early, based on natural priority. Researchers, after reviewing the studies, found that people waking up late in the night had more problems with heart disease and type 2 diabetes.

People who sleep late at night are more likely to adopt non-nutritious diet. These people eat more alcohol, sugar, tea-coffee and fast food. While this is rarely seen among the people who get up early. Eating late in the day was also found to be related to the risk of type-2 diabetes because the clock inside the body gives way to glucose to give energy to the body. Glucose level falls naturally throughout the day and reaches a very low level at night. But people who wake up at night often eat till before going to bed, so their glucose levels also increase when they go to sleep. According to research, the catering time of people sleeping late is also disturbed. Due to sleeping late, they are also late to get up, which eliminates morning breakfast and they eat food late in the day. The amount of grains, vegetables and fruits in their food is also less. Such people eat less food in a day, but take more quantity. If you also stick to your smartphone laptop or TV late at night, then be careful.
