The Central Government has awarded Madhya Pradesh in the category of best states for unprecedented progress in the field of infrastructure and agricultural development. On behalf of the Madhya Pradesh government, Urban Development and Housing Minister Mr. Jayawardhan Singh received this award from Central Information and Broadcasting Mr. Prakash Javadekar. Giving information about the development journey of Madhya Pradesh, Minister Shri Jayawardhan Singh said that hard work, inspiration and new thinking are the basic mantra of development.
Initially, 400 pollution-free buses will be introduced in five cities.
He said that due to the thinking, experience and administrative ability of Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath, Madhya Pradesh has now moved forward on the path of progress. Referring to the development model of Chhindwara district, Shri Jayawardhan Singh said that Chhindwara district has become an indicator of development not only in the state but in the whole country. Referring to the works and innovations done in the field of urban development, he informed that electric vehicle policy has been started in the state. Initially, 400 pollution-free buses will be introduced in five cities. With this, a real estate policy has been formulated in the state, which will be implemented in 378 cities of the state.
