Gestational diabetes can be cured with better exercise

A research has found that good health and exercise before pregnancy reduces the risk of gestational diabetes. Gestational diabetes is likely to develop into type 2 diabetes after delivery. Diabetic disease that occurs in the last half interval during pregnancy is called gestational disease. During this disease, the pregnant woman feels more thirst and hunger, along with this, urine also comes again and again. Research co-author Cara Whitaker said that women are very conscious about eating and drinking during pregnancy. But they should be equally aware of their exercise and health before pregnancy. For this, they should exercise for half an hour daily. In which moderate exercise such as brisk walking and vigorous exercise such as jogging can be done.

Whitaker’s team studied data obtained from 1,333 25-year-old women. These women had to undergo seven studies. The study included the possibility of getting pregnant, the possibility of gestational diabetes, walking on top of the treadmill for two minutes, etc. The study found that 164 women had developed gestational diabetes. Researchers reported a 21 percent decrease in women exercising before pregnancy and taking care of their health. Exercise is not likely to result in gestational diabetes by improving glucose metabolism in the body and increasing excess weight.
