The Dial 100 team of police is helping people in a new and easy way. Now even after making a call from a simple feature phone, the team traces the location of the caller and reaches the location for help. The Dial 100 team has started this by helping senior citizens. Now if you dial 100 from the general feature phone, then through that the police will trace your location and will reach you. Earlier, in the Dial 100 system, only the location of the complainant could be traced only by calling from Android and smartphone. But now the location of mobile phones with general features also easily detects the system. Through this, Dial-100 has so far assisted more than 52 thousand senior citizens in the entire state. This information was given to the nodal officers of Madhya Pradesh State Road Safety Implementation Committee in the state level control room of Dial-100.

Control room was shown to the nodal officers from the State Road Safety Cell’s Office of Police Training and Research Institute. The Dial-100 team showed the officers the dispatcher room and the call-tracker room and showed them the items to be placed in the dial-100 vehicle FRV. The aim was how the Dial 100 team works. PTRI Assistant Inspector General of Police Kumar Saurabh and his team were informed by Superintendent of Police Dial-100 Veena Singh about the entire system. There is a 100 percent response on the information of road accident. There are 110 call trackers in the control room. Of these, 24 dispatchers and 6 supervisors are working 24 hours for assistance. 1000 FRV and 150 FRV motorcycles are working in the state. In case of any kind of untoward, the officer is informed through the SMS system. After that, the caller is informed about the action taken. In call center of Dial-100, call volumes increase from 4 pm to 10 pm. With this responsibility, the Dial-100 team also continues to patrol in their respective areas.

ISRO launches PSLV-C48, ten satellites placed in orbit

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has launched satellite RISAT-2 BR1 from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota. The satellite was launched on Wednesday through a PSLV-48 rocket. Nine more satellites have been sent along with the satellites. RISAT-2BR1 is a radar imaging earth observation satellite. Its total weight is 628 kg. This launch is important for ISRO, as it is the 50th flight of PSLV. It is the 75th rocket to be launched from Sriharikota. It is designed to assist in agriculture, forest and disaster management. The total satellites sent include one each from Israel, Italy, Japan and six satellites from the US. ISRO said that these satellites were launched under a commercial agreement with New Space India Limited. The space agency said RISAT-2 BR1 mission is five years old. RISAT-2B was successfully launched on May 22 ahead of RISAT-2 BR1. In addition to RISAT-2 BR1, PSLV is carrying 9 satellites in space, one of which is from Israel. It is made by the students of Israel’s Herzliya Science Center and Shar Hanegev High School.

The satellite named Dusifat-3 weighs just 2.3 kg. This is an educational satellite on which the camera Earth will be used for imaging.  Apart from this, a radio transponder installed on it will be useful for conducting research on air and water pollution and monitoring the forests. The three Israeli students who build it will also be at the launch site. The RISAT-2 BR1 satellite will operate both day and night. It is a satellite operating on microwave frequency, hence it is called Radar Imaging Satellite. It will work in any weather, plus it will be able to take pictures even beyond the clouds but these pictures will not be the same as they come from the camera. Apart from the Indian Army, it will also help the agriculture, forest and disaster management departments. Monitoring of the borders with this satellite After the 26/11 Mumbai attack, the technology of this RISAT satellite was changed. The borders were monitored via satellite since the attack. This satellite is also used in anti-terrorist activities.
