Timely detection of a powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) near the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir prevented a major terrorist incident from taking place. The IED was installed in the Kerry sector and was later deactivated by experts. An army patrol detected the IED around 4 pm and immediately detonated the area and successfully neutralized the explosive.
